Five minute abstract

Well...maybe not exactly five minutes, but close to it. I was itchin' to get my fingers into the paint today, but figured I only had a few minutes before my hubby came downstairs from his shower to do it. So, I squeezed some random colors on my canvas, rubbed 'em around with my fingers, then dragged a squeege through the wet paint this way and that....and ta-da! A quick, easy background to build upon later when inspiration strikes. I was sick with an icky summer cold earlier this week and it pretty much zapped all my energy, creative and otherwise. Think I'm gonna try to sneak back into the studio tonight and try out my squeege again. :D What new tools are you playing with right now? I'd love to hear about the results.
