my son is home sick from school today, so studio time was a no go. i found myself with alot of pent up creative energy, so I had to find an outlet. that's how these sweet little girls came about. :)

i've been meaning to get back to my digi stamp idea, but too many other things kept coming up. then today i had to find a way to satisfy my creative urge while staying in the same room with the kiddo to make sure he stayed still and resting (something very difficult for him, even when he's sick he won't stay still for long).

after a little facebook drive by on my phone from my spot next to him on the couch, i had my answer. :)

thankfully our scanner and printer are here in the same room, so i was able to scan and print out my drawing. then i grabbed some colored pencils, sat back down on the couch and went to work.

now to cut her out, grab some of my scrapbooking paper stash, and make a card for my son's teacher for teacher appreciation week. :D

i would LOVE to know what y'all think of this drawing! i'm thinking of going more this direction with my digi stamps and i could really use your input!

thanks bunches y'all!!! xoxo

All cleaned up 'n ready to paint!

20120223-164250.jpg My studio was in chaos mode again, so I took time this afternoon to clean off my work table and move some clutter out of my studio (its just right next door in our living room so as to remind me I still need to do something with it).

I feel a studio purge coming on! What ever I find lurking that I haven't used in the past year or so is gonna have to go...otherwise I won't be able to move in here! Lol!

a peek into the "classroom"

a little peek into the virtual "classroom" of my new eCourse "Divine Romance - Strengthening your connection to God through creativity". this is our second video for the week and we'll be having a group mentoring session Friday morning {head's up sisters....email with details coming your way}.

i'll be closing registration this sunday oct. 23rd, so there's still time to join us....God's been at work already in the hearts of this wonderful group of creative sisters. i feel so blessed that He uses me, even in my brokenness, to speak hope into their spirits.

Last chance this year to sign up for my Divine Romance eCourse

i've been busy preparing for my last eCourse offering for this year, so that has left me little time to spend online lately. by the way, its not too late to sign up and the 2-payment installment plan is still available. :) the first time i offered this online class, many of the participants told me that it was life changing for them. that God used me to speak into their spirit and unlock/reveal things to them. so here i am again, stepping out in faith that He's gonna do that again for those who choose to take that leap, listen to that still, small voice within them, trust God, and step fully into what He has placed within them.

you already have what you need inside of you....but you must first renew your soul and grow in your relationship to our Father if you are ever gonna unlock it. there is a door that connects your spirit to your soul. once you open that door, you will access His pure joy, peace, wisdom, and creativity in the midst of your circumstances....the light of God will shine brightly in you...and the overflow of His light will touch those around you. i want to help you....guide you in finding the keys to release the gifts He already placed within you.
